Frequently Asked Questions

We know that attending a church service for the first time can be a super scary thing. Being unsure of what the dress, culture or even when to stand up and sit down can be a weirdly paralyzing thought! At Cornerstone Community Church, you can expect friendly and authentic people, engaging and relevant music and worship, compelling preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God. You will be encouraged and maybe even challenged.

No matter where you are from or what denomination you were raised in, we are a body of Christ followers who love and care for one another. We believe you will feel right at home the moment you walk through our doors.

  • What Should I Wear?

Clothes. That’s the only thing we ask. We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside of a person than what clothes they wear on the outside. If it makes you feel better, our pastors don’t wear ties or suits. Feel free to come as you are.

  • When & Where Is Church Service?

We hope you'll join us at our 9:30 AM Sunday service at 300 Country Club Drive, Incline Village, NV 89451. Arrive early and enjoy a doughnut and coffee in our foyer!

  • What's the Music LiKe?

We don’t own a pipe organ. Our live band usually consists of guitars, drums, and keys. We do our best at blending the old with the new when it comes to our worship style.

We offer dynamic children services from birth to 5th grade during the Sunday morning gathering. The creative environment and experienced teachers will help your children learn about God in a relevant way, as well as offer fun experiences that will help the teaching come alive in their hearts.

If this is your first time with us we want you to keep your wallet in your pocket. Just come and experience a service at Cornerstone. If you like it and want to call it your church home, then we believe giving to God and His church is part of being a Christ-follower.

We sure hope not. A life connected to Jesus should be fulfilling and rewarding. We strategically plan weekend gatherings to engage your heart, mind and soul. We use music, video, and powerful teaching to help you connect to God in a meaningful way.

We want to make you feel welcome as you put yourself in a position to connect with God. We even provide fresh coffee, pretty comfortable seating, and a casual environment that will set the tone for you to be more focused on God, and less concerned about the atmosphere around you.
